The HHR was really a "niche" vehicle. It isn't a cookie cutter vehicle that can be updated for the next generation for upcoming buyers. I'm glad it had as good of run as it did, though. Just look at the SSR. As long as people enjoy these HHR's, it doesn't matter if their still being produced. I still love them! That's why I continue to post here and try to give feedback. But, I love my Lightning's more but I wouldn't mind owning a 5 speed SS in the future, when prices drop.

I agree and a lot of people said the same thing about the Cobalt when they stopped producing that in 2010. Although there are mixed feelings about that because some liked the Cobalt while others didn't. Me personally I liked it as long as it was a 2 door and was something better than a LS or LT. Something like the Sport or SS I loved and my dad has an 08 Cobalt Sport. Nice little car imo it is very enjoyable to drive. I had a feeling though after the Cobalt was gone the HHR would soon follow seeing as they're both Delta platform vehicles. Like others have said though it had a good production run 2005-2011 and from 2005-2010 they sold 489,780 of them. I got mine too and I love it. Just remember even though it's no longer produced doesn't mean it will be forgotten. Now its up to us to keep this car alive.
