If it just arrived why would you have to wait until Saturday to pick it up?

P.d.i.

The dealerships have to do what they call a P.D.I. (pre deliver inspection) on new cars.

1 of 2 things, if not both:

1. The Manufacturer's Statement of Origin has been misplaced.

2. The car was damaged on the carrier and they're desperately trying to fix it in time for delivery.

Sorry to be the resident curmudgeon, but the truth hurts and a lot of people here just can't take it. Especially the trolls. I guess it's okay to warn and threaten to ban someone for calling people out on their BS, but the same people who make this stuff up and post utter nonsense are allowed to do whatever they want. I mean, WTF is a thread about buying a Jetta doing on an HHR forum? Seriously, the mods need to take back control of this forum.

I have never heard of a 3 day waiting period to get a car after it's at the dealership. I got my Colorado and my HHR the same day they arrived at the dealership. Maybe its a suzuki thing.

I agree with hhrcrafty, I don`t know why this thread stayed open for so long. Two people changing veh. isn`t newsworthy on this site.
SO LONG guys, Really wouldn`t have missed you, or your new "Rides..."

Was I warned, lately, see some posts gone, and don't know what closed them and deleted content, hummm!!! I know it had to do with calling out, some of the BS.
