nothing but hot air!!!!

ok we bought a used hhr in sacto about 4 weeks ago and just now had time to look at why it only blow hot air ,now thats its close to 90 the wife was blowing hot air ,ok its fixed lucky for me it was only the plug on the heat control knob it was not seated in the control pushed it in till it cliped and COLD air,,,,,, wifes now happy again ,and i,m happy with a easy fix , so just food for thought if all u get is hot AIR!!!!!but i have alot of extra parts had i needed them

That's great! It appears that someone had recently had the control head out before you purchased.

well u hit that correct as i found a biz card in the car it was in the owners man, called the # and the orig owner called me back i got alot of good info, not a bad car just alot of highway miles ,123456,WOW, and still runs great, need front struts and rear shocks but that cool, so if u have one and u are scared of high mileage don't be,its a running machine!!! go hhr go hhr,,,,ok i got one for u can u get the rear hatch open with a dead battery as the wreck one i have has no power and would like to open the rear door lmk thanxs dave i think i just need to jump it,,,,is there a cable??

to jump start the hhr, pop the hood and on the (thinking....) driver side strut tower you should see a - (neg. picture) and then on the fuse box, there should be a red cap like top. those are the jump start points. as far as for the future you can make it so that if your batt. dies again, you can still pop the hatch. theres a thread in here somewhere and if im not mistaken, is also should show you how in the manual. search around or someone might post the "how to" thread soon.

not sure i can find them ,,,, was hoping it had a cable pull or a jumper spot just for the rear hatch,,,,

Crawl through the interior to the back liftgate. There is a small cover at the bottom of the liftgate trim panel that you pry off and the manual release is inside of the opening. Do a search because there is a how-to thread somewhere on this issue.
