I don't think the gas pedal method is in any Owner Manual. Maybe 2006-2007. Or, I just never saw it.

I tried the button method from my owners manual in the glove box, it would say acknowleged and show oil life 100% then turn off, when key turned back on and check it still showed 37% ? Called my son n law at the shop, he sent me their info to reset it which was the same..... so I came here and still the same method, searched a bit and seen the 3 pedal push, tried it and it worked. Not sure why the buttons didnt reset it?

That is what Im thinking as the arrow button seems to do nothing. I have some electrical contact cleaner I may try but since the decal is worn off Id rather get new buttons

For fun, I looked up how to reset oil life on the 2006 model year in that owners manual in section 5 page 17
the 3 steps on the throttle pedal method is not mentioned

On page 303 of the 2007 model it’s not mentioned either

But I know I used the three press the throttle pedal method in Oldblue, every 10,000 kilometres, from 54,000 to 484,000 that’s 43 oil and filter changes! I wonder if someone with an ‘06 would try to reset with the three tap method?
