HHRDK, I use Mobil 1 and change it every 7000 miles. I have had good luck with it.

 

How often do U change the oil filter?

 

I change my filter every time I change the oil.

I do anywhere from 6000 to almost 9000 miles between oil changes (April and October)

 

I just bought the car to tank kit and the lowering kit was waaaay cheaper

 

You guys go by the lifr of the oil or how long youve used it??

 

I change the filter when the oil gets changed and I change it by miles. I am ready for a oil change at 7000 miles and my oil use % left is 30%.

 

30%? still wasting resorces i see. since august 06... first change at 1000 miles to change to syn mobil one. then by the DIC from then on. averageing almost 9000 plus miles and a little more than 10 months between DIC recommended changes. current miles about 19000 miles in about 21 months... avg mpg between oil changes 26.7 - small town and country roads plus excursions to the big cities every once in a while. save gas... slow down

I am almost positive that using silicon spray on the muffler bearing will ruin the ams and void the warrenty
