FYI - All caps are generally regarded as yelling on most message boards.

That said I don't think that I would have let him borrow my bike.

Oh hell no! Some people are just mechanical night mares; they have no control over the gremlins that plague them.

If you love it keep it. If it dosen't matter go for it. Some people have trouble for their middle name their whole life, thats just the way it is.

Growing up I was not one who shared. One morning, I woke screaming in agony. It was determined that I needed medical aid and needed to be taken to the hospital. While I was never known for being overly dramatic, unless it came to household chores (of course); all reservation regarding the severity of the pain were removed when, I tossed my brother the keys to my car and and said, "Here, you drive."

Of course several years later my brother redeemed himself with the following conversation:
Phone ringing...
JJ: "Hello?"
Bro: "Uhm, do you have and extra set of keys for your car"
JJ: Hesitation, "...yes... why"
Bro: "...because I locked your keys in your car."

The whole purpose of this endeavor was that I did not want to drive some hundred miles so he could run an errand. During the course of the conversation my brother indicated he knew where some rocks were and had a solution to our dilemma. I acquired a parent, complete with a car, and retrieved my car, with the windows intact.

Both my brother and I are in our late 40's, those are the only two times he has driven my car.

I love my brother; both he and I have survived life, which concludes that the Lord is with us all the time; but he still ain't driving my car.

I never loan my cars, whether they are ancient rusty pieces O' poo, or my new HHR. NO ONE borrows my car. EVER! They cost too much to replace.
