Someone stole your wheels, while at the dealer?

I've had a few issues:

Warped rotors (still have to buy some)
Front passenger side (inside) door handle broke (still have to fix that)
Steering column rattle (it gets annoying sometimes)
Chrome shifter trim broke
Butyl patch leak (I fixed that)

For a first year run vehicle that's not bad.

Fuse, Relay, Circuit Breaker and BCM Maintenance

Issues to date:

The oil filter cap was a little tough to loosen (dealer did first service; I did the second) when I changed the filter. That's it.

One thing that I do at each service is to give all of the fuses, ckt brkrs BCMs and relays a "finger push" as recommended on the SoCalHHR site. (Both under the hood and the passenger kick panel). I did find some fuses that "moved" the first time around and I was able to seat them solid. On the second service I found movement only with the relays/ckt breakers.

Transmission control module had an error. Reset computer and no problems anymore. I think it has to do with remote start. I was hoping in the car and putting the key in while it was running. I shut it off with remote and restart now.
Also front rotors are a weak spot.
Still , no worse than any other car out there.

65K miles

I have just over 78k and replace the rotors cuz I did not want to wait to have them turned, but they were NOT warped, just replaced tires and I still love the car. I wish they made an El Camino verision, so I could haul even more stuff.

  • Rotors resurfaced at 10k under warranty. Needs it again at 28k. I'll buy aftermarket this time.
  • Driver side vanity mirror kept popping out. Replaced under warranty.
  • Right sway link end went bad. Replaced under warranty.

Certainly nothing major. My biggest problems were trying to decide what color to chose for the dash kit, and what kind of graphic/striping to put on.
