That code indicates electrical problems in the VVT system solenoids

https://www.obd-codes.com/p0010

I recommend change them both, they like to fail in pairs.

A how to

Nice to see some of the old gang still here. I just wish the production numbers were still up, from what I gather there were only 1207 2LT panels in 2008, and I don't know if all of them had the sunroof.

Mongo- Well my info is that there were only 266 (2LT Panels) made.

But maybe that was for the white ones ? & my 2LT Panel has no sunroof & I'm glad it doesn't !!!

Mine has every option available, including heated leather seats and the sunroof. Gotta be pretty rare, I've only ever seen a couple panels with sunroofs and they were both SS
The seller had the sunroof drains cleaned out, I'm stripping the interior to check for water damage this summer.

Wow! Great find! A couple years ago I bought in that same area of Michigan a 2008 2LT Victory Red, spec’ed very much the same except unfortunately not a panel. It even had those chrome rings on the tails. Really liked it, was forced to sell it to get permission to buy my SS.

And it also had a P0010. Or a P0013. I think. Anyway, it survived the the drive home to Ohio just fine, couldn’t find any problem with the wires or connectors so (based in part upon the advice of the gurus in this [amazing] forum) I just replaced the guilty solenoid valve assembly (AC Delco) and that fixed it. Your P0010 is probably a short or open in the solenoid coil of the assembly.

Don’t throw away the one for the exhaust. Might come in handy.
