I have another one: I noticed that when I spray the windshield, I think the wipers swipe one more time than necessary. 3 would do fine, but it does 4 and often leaves streaks then. Anyone else?

Funny - just noticed that myself today. One swipe too many!

If you find out anything let me know. I'm due for an oil change in a few weeks I'll ask the tech - I doubt I'll find anything there though.

It can't be changed or adjusted. The BCM pulses the wiper circuit to make the wiper swipe 3-5 times. And the manual doesn't state what the parameters are for either a 3, 4 or 5 swipe. I suspect it is resistance in the wiper motor.

Maybe i hold my washer button too long or longer than others, but I always have to use the feature for one manual swipe to get the rest of the water off the windshield.

Our problem (or at least mine) is after the washer goes, there are extra swiped, not enough!

I'm a big fan of the manual swipe as well!

Ditto on the too small windshield and poor visability; also the pillars are to thick and block visibility when in turns.

- Lack of a dome light in the driver's section, moon light just doesnt cut it
- No built in garage door opener
- Cup holders, or lack of them, suck (3 holders for a family of 5)
- Tough to see traffic lights change if you are the first car in line (find myself looking through sun roof, my wife says it is because I go "past that line")
- Would like to have an extra "cleat" in the rear cargo area up around the top of the rear seat.
- Would like a power adapter in the rear cargo area.
- Instead of 60-40 fold down rear seat, I would love the option for a set of capitain's chairs instead. Realistically 3 adults cant fit comfortibly in the back seat.

Great list of needed items.. My 09 SS has the "dome lite" issue covered (3 inside the car now)... And 4 cupholders "kinda-sorta"... That rear-seat ideal is cool!

dome light override??

The one thing i have discovered on my 09 panel is that there is no way to overide the dome lamps. I show my car all the time and with the doors open for display, the dome lights are always on..alot of the older GM vehicles had a manual overide switch. I believe on the non panel HHRs there is a switch on the dome lamp assembly that allows on-off-door control, but not on the 09 panel.
