I got one of the pens at the dealer today for 10.??. It has a brush and a pen on it. My color is the SOM. See the dealer and they will find the code. The 10.00 cost was cheap enough.

I will need more than a pen, I'm looking to painting my Mazda RX-8 that color. Any case, I already tried emailing Chevrolet about it, but they couldn't help me out. I will just go to dealership, and ask someone there..

My 08 HHR has the sticker in the glovebox but at the bottom of the sticker where it says WATERBASED there is no numbers after it but clear to the right on the same line is 192, this can't be it so is there another way of finding the code?

This has been an interesting quest! When I purchased my 2008 HHR, I was told it was "Dark Gray Metallic." However, all the paint references call it "Techo Gray Metallic." Further, the paint code in my glove box is, waterbased 19B. However, reference charts show it as WA411P / 75

Very confusing for a dyslexic! LOL!

The paint code is in 2 places on the I.D label. In the lower right corner,it's the
WA number. In the lines of numbers it's a number near the end of the string(in your case,75) followed by either a "U" or an "L".

Look for the RPO code with the U as ZTony8 said. A bit of trivia. The reason for the U was back in the day we had Upper and Lower paints. When two tone went away the U stayed around.

Or check the sticky in the General forum for all RPO codes, which is where I copied and pasted this from.

Do you know if the dealership will sell any touch-up paint for the interior? I put a little chip in my arm rest with my briefcase. I tried the parts store mix it yourself patch stuff and cannot get the color right. I would like to go over the chip with the factory color so it is not noticeable.
