Paint Problems

My burnt orange hhr is loosing the paint along the whole lower part of the car has anyone had this happen before.

Just losing paint or could it be a "sandblasting" effect from road salt and sand?

nope, but only three thousand miles, I will be getting running boards soon to protect the lowers and leading edges of the fenders...I should have odered them when I bought the HHR, but I screwed up...

Nothing that major, but we just took a 1200 mile trip to and from El Paso, and when we got back I noticed several fair sized pits in the paint on the front of the hood. Where you can see the white primer underneath. But no biggie I guess, I'll just go pick up some touch up pens at the dealer this weekend.

West Texas highways are brutal for cars. Lots of sand, loose gravel and clay as hard as a rock.

I have 10,000 miles and no broblem except like snowhhhr with a few wite specks on the lower rear panel from road gravel and dirt.
