I suppose you could use the door lock wiring to the poppers, but that would be "all or none".

I think the Panel uses a different RCDLR, or the programming is different. And another relay maybe.

Come to think; I believe the doors have separate lock circuits, depending on year. You would have to figure out how to divide the signal.

Here is the wiring for 2008:

All that work, you'd still have windows in the back. If you really want a panel, be patient.

Craigslist, cargurus are a couple good sites

Here are two from our classified ads

And

Then there's this AA5 half panel, so the rear passengers can see the sites!

So. You're converting a rare half panel (AA5) to a common full panel ? Since the half panels are pretty rare, not sure if I'd want to go that route. Just my personal opinion.

If you're gonna do it, then get the control box from the panel and the dash door pop switches , you'll have to get a dealership or locksmith with a scanner to program the box to your AA5

Personally I'm with George, leave it an AA5!

Are you going to remove the rear seats and convert to cargo space? If you leave seats in the back, I think your passengers cannot get in or out unless you open the doors for them.

Another option is to Plasti-Dip the rear windows, for the privacy of a panel, with the functionality of a wagon.
