Parking 101

Well other than my Vette, I had my Ford 4x4 12 years before trading it off for this HHR last month. I cannot park this thing straight if my life depended on it. Today at Costco, I purposely made sure this thing was straight. We get out, I start laughing, followed by "where'd you learn how to park?"

Anyone else out their doing this and willing to admit it!

I back halfway into the spot looking through the rear window, then use the mirrors to make sure im straight with the lines/adjacent cars. I find it easier than my cavalier.

I don't have a problem parking straight but I always seem to park right over the white line between two parking spots

Looks like we need to initiate a recall. Can ya see that? Cars being recalled because they won't park straight!

Oh thank GOODNESS I'm not the only one with parking 'issues'
I went from my S10 to Blackie and I had no problem parking Indy--but for some reason, can't seem to get this guy between the lines

I think that's why I park away from most other cars!

I've never had that problem but I've noticed parking spaces vary in size in different parts of the country. What I like about the HHR is it's so small, you don't have to make sure it's straight so others don't hit you.
