Pick a part scrapyards in Southern Ontario?
Hi Guys /Girls,
Another driver decided it was inconvenient to look to the right to see if another vehicle was already in the lane they wanted to be in and changed lanes rubbing up the side of my panel .
Police said its a "non reportable incident" and to go sort it out amongst yourselves or via ins.
Estimate was $3500.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I need a left fender and a door so I don't have to mess with putty etc.
Google wasn't a lot of help. What pic a part places are there you all use?

Not one of the shops in your PM came up when I searched for scrap yards and parts yards!!
The places I did find were not very search friendly to see if they had an HHR in the yard.
Every one wanted an email parts request

I would say $3500 is most definitely reportable. A lot of insurance companies would call that a total.

Yup. And here in the statest you could crawl out of your car in the most minor of fender benders crying whiplash and make off with a few extra thousand bucks! Oh America. I would never take part in such fruadulent activities but I've heard of it before.

Not many scrap yards actually use the internet for parts. You have to call them.
Their inventory changes by the second. Those email requests usually go to a central database that somebody might look at sometime. Pretty much the old CB squawk box of the 21st century.
The other day I saw an online ad for prepainted parts I think it was on eBay. However, new doors usually come as frame + skin.
