Painting the grill this week.
so far the semi gloss black is on, tomorrow medium charcoal gray metallic.
Then some experimenting with the clear coat. maybe a satin clear coat.
I'll figure out how to post a picture by the time the grill is done.

I put some pictures in the gallery, not sure how to post them in this topic or any topic for that much. Anyway, its the silver HHR with the charcoal and black grill.

Just an update.
The key fob has been repaired. Bought 2 of them from ebay ($24 total) and swapped out the key pad buttons. Works like a charm. Still have to get the other new one programmed but no big hurry.
Ignition replaced, 2 new keys and the old key used as a hide a key.
Picked up a digital air 12 volt air pump and tire plug kit. tried it out ( pump) and it works nice. Set it to 30 psi and walk away. it shuts itself off when it hit the pressure its set to.
Fixed the drivers door, it would drop a tad after opening, so I adjusted the upper hinge and the body lines are perfect and it opens like its supposed to.
It drives nice, looks nice, very happy with it.
All the maintainance has been done, cept the brakes, they have quite a bit of life left in them.
Added a retro "chevorlet' decal to the grill, I have pictures but they are fuzzy, i'll take some new ones.
Wife loves her new ride and I like it too. Luv the MPG it gets compared to my Silverado
We give it 2 thumbs up.
