Hey all, I can't find the post, but I found the website that broke down the options for your car and what the codes in the glove box meant. I did a goggle search and found it though. If you are looking for options in the serial number, I doubt you can get much more than was given in the decode. The information is sort of vague on the internet now, except for carfax. I did find the codes for options on vehicles, if you want it i'll research more. Here is that link for option codes for GM trucks, couldn't find cars but you get the idea. Here
