You need to hold onto it as it may be the only one left. I have totally forgot about those, that's how long it's been since I've seen one. That was called a ChevyVan wasn't it? And GMC was the HandyVan...

Yep, and that's why I wanted an HHR panel, old looks and new car reliability.

Debating on putting an EFI 4.3 and 4 speed automatic in the 68, don't really need a 400hp V8 anymore.

Hmmm, a "Classic". I had a 72' Ranchero, its a classic now. I was asking $8k for it. Things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them, no matter what the books say they are worth.

Any car can be a classic but only demand set value.

I kind of expect the HHR to be a Corvair of the future. Something different and special but not in really high demand.

I don't think the HHR will ever be compared to the Corvair, just read the postings here, consumers are much more intelligent and know what they're looking for. Thanks for the memories, I had a 69 ChevyVan with 108" Wheel base. Was custom from the 350 we put in it to the Cragars, paint job, including the Keep on Trucking on the back with the T very close to the R and got stopped several times, but when they looked close they could see it was seperate. Wouldn't advise giving the cops a reason to stop but was still sweet seeing their faces when they realized I didn't put that on the van.

Even though it's close in the poll I figured NO would lead. However, I'm pretty sure the PT Cruiser/HHR style throwbacks are done. So, in some way we will have a unique, eventually rare ride.....as long as the construction of our HHR's proves to hold up long enough. They don't make cars like they used to...just imitate them

15 out of every 30 days, I say "I'm keeping mine forever".
The other 15 I want a banged-up, ugly truck or van to haul pets and Lowes stuff in...and to park on the driveway.
