My car was ordered with the "Northern Climate" feature ($195) which eliminated the nasty warning "Possible Ice". Instead, it shows "Possible Heat" whenever our tempeature goes over 60 degrees.

Yep unfortunately I see it everyday for the past couple months. I really wish I could just get rid of it.

Have only seen that once on mine. Weather in Southern California rarely gets to where that message is triggered.

I was going to drive over the mountains today, knowing it was going to be cold, but I got the 'ice possible' warning before I even left town........

It was cold, but dry - no ice.

I'd get that in Buffalo but I think the battery is dead and the tires are flat from sitting in the garage since November. Here's one for ya, my Jeep has a plug in block heater! Melts the 8" of snow on the hood overnight into fang like icicles over the fenders but gives me a nice toasty start in the AM. Going to do it again on my next car.

Ditto! then when you finally make it to the car you have to beat your fist around the door frame to break the freekin ice so you can get in!
