Power accessory point of connection

I am about to install my rear leveling springs this weekend. I have an electric impact wrench that, I believe connects to a 12 battery via clips on the battery terminals.

Is there a source under the hood that I can connect to? I really am trying to avoid taking all the covers off in the rear to connect directly to that poor excuse for a battery that our cars have.

Thanks!

Don

There is a RED COVER marked with a + by the fuse box under the hood. Now pick up the - (neg) off the top of the shock tower, there is a label there that says neg. DO NOT USE THE BLACK TERM AT THE BACK OF THE FUSE BOX, that is not neg.

Thanks TJ. Yes I saw that red post but obviously no negative post. The lower shock bolts are really on there tight from what Ive been told. Just figured that since I have this cool emergency impact unit, I would make good use of it. There very well could be an adapter that lets it power from a cig lighter receptacle. Im not home right now and cannot check it out. The debate is whether to do it at work (construction shop) or at home in the driveway. I need to round up tools etc
