If it advertises that I can program it myself...wouldn't you assume it has a programming module?

Now don't give me crap about assuming.

I would see what happens when you threaten to sue for false advertising.

They are "Generic" brand. 😁 I bought them off eBay.

The link you sent and their site says I need to take it somewhere as there is no onboard programming capabilities.

I guess I need to brush my hair and put on make up if I'm gonna try to get a decent deal or even free programming.

They were so inexpensive...I think $10 maybe $20 for the two I got. I may leave negative feedback for certain.

Sometimes, if you really do your research, or are lucky, you get what you pay for.

I have no idea the traditional cost to get remotes programmed. There was a company selling car remotes at Sam's Club recently. At first they said they couldn't just program my remotes. Then that chatted amongst themselves and said they could do it for $75. Sounded sketchy at that point and I walked away.

Well the dealership wants $79.95 to program two five. I told him that wasn't in my budget for a luxury item at this point. Been spending a lot on parts recently. Locksmith was closed.

I'd certainly let the ebay seller know (before leaving feedback, as that is your leverage) they are not as described. Some times they will just refund you & you keep the remotes.
