Yes, but Chevy says only if you have the automatic transmission and a max weight of 1000 lbs which is about 453kilo
click on this to see how a hitch is installed http://www.tomshhr.com/index_files/page0003.htm

max. weight is the trailer and what is on it.

Thank you for the warm welcome

Thank you for the warm reception here at your home. In Germany, there is the HHR only been this year and not immediately. Did me a buy in the USA and I am on this side have come. I think it is very beautiful. Are there things to be considered when buying a HHR should necessarily eighth! Where can I get a HHR not get so expensive! Which is better, 2.2 or 2.4?

Ja, es ist ein schönes Auto. The 2.2 and 2.4 are about the same, the 2.2 gets better gas mileage but not by much. .The 2 engines are about the same except the 2.4 cost more to buy. Most people will say the 2.4L has more passing power. Didn't understand what you mean ---when buying a HHR should necessarily eighth! Write that in German and I'll see if I can translate it
Wo wohnen Sie in Deutschland?

English translation:

It is a matter of opinon.

I prefer the HHR 2LT with the side air bags for additonal safety.

The 2LT also comes with antilock brakes and stability control, both excellent safety features.

The 2LT also comes with the 2.4 engine.

You should add a rear sway bar for added driving stability.

Hope this is helpful.
