Quick Question On Tires-help!!!

my in laws are gonna turn in my lil bro in laws 05 mustang. they just got some brand new kuhmo tires 215/65/16 for it. tires are less than 4 months old. they got him an 07 jetta. less payment for them. anyways, we were trying to find out if they would fit on the hhr to not let them go to waste. they wanting to turn in the car by the end of the week which means that i'm gonna have to take off the led tail lights, projector headlights, and the bbk cold air intake that i just put on 3 weeks ago (all for sale now), and put everything back to stock. my hhr has 215/55/16. would they fit? what would the difference be fit wise? i called a couple of used tire shops but we're looking at $100.00 to get used tires for the stang, that way we can take the new ones off and put the used ones on, and sell the new ones or whatever, ya know. or if anyone wants to buy the new tires we can prolly work sumthing out, but like i said they wanna turn in the car by the end of the week or begining of next week. if all you tire gurus out there can shed some light on the fitment, please let me know. thanks everyone

YES they will fit, your first number is the width of the tyre in MM. The second number is the percentage of that number relating to the height of sidewall. The third number is the diameter of the wheel itself. The only thing it might do is throw your speedo off a little due to the rolling circumfrence of the tyre being a little more.

Hey there Mr. Smurf, the difference in diameter between stock 215/55/16 and the 215/65/16 would be 1.7" !!! That's quite a bit...They'd probably fit, might look a little funny though! Check out www.tirerack.com if you need specs on any tire.
