Ran over some paint

Just got back from from a one month vacation to Florida. I have white paint spots on the passenger side of the car front to back and underneath the running board. Thank god for the splash guards or it would be much worse. Was thinking about using a clay bar to remove it. Any one have any suggestions I would appreciate it. Thanks

Smile Referance Paint On HHR

Starrman any idea of what kind of paint ?? like maybe interior house paint ?? etc.. I would try one of those self serve car wash places were you use the hand wand with pressure ? Several years ago I got yellow road line paint on the car I was driving. It was like a day later that I saw the paint and I went right away to the car wash and after a few dollars I had it clean.
Then I put a new wax job on the whole car.

Clay bar or paint cleaner polish. [not wax] will do the job!

It takes some work.

Try naptha, not the stuff you get at the home improvement stores but straight lighter fluid. It usually does not harm paints and many plastics, etc. It is also great for removing sticker goo. 3M's Adhesive Remover and Surface Cleaner is another great product you can get at automtive paint supply stores.

Good luck!
