I have a nitro off road truck. It is a very expensive hobby!!! I have almost $2,000 into my truck. Now it sits with a blown engine, and neen a new one. Great hobby if you have the money to spend. A local hoby shop around here just put in a outdoor track along with an indoor track. Didn't get to run my truck here yet, but the outdoor track looks cool. Didn't get to check out the indoor track though.

I was really into it a couple years ago. I've had 1/18 scale onroad electric, RC10 GT (still own), traxxas nitro sport, and 1/8 nitro ofna buggy. By far, the buggy was my favorite, but didn't have time and resources to keep them all. I still get the rc10gt out occasionally to run at the local track. Wish I had more time for it.

There was a hobby shop next to Bristol that had a Nascar Oval. The hobby shop is gone but the track is still there. I'm into the planes, but we would stop by to watch the cars occassionally.

so where's the RC HHR? otherwise, this thread should have posted in the lounge... not to be a thread nazi or anything, but the mods want only HHR topics on here, if you read those rules:

"DO NOT POST IN THE "General HHR" unless...
Your thread is related to the car, and there is no better place in other sections.
We have way too many threads posted in this section every day that are not HHR related. Maybe I should move the Off Topic section on top"

...so dont be surprised if they move this thread, is what I'm trying to say. I dont really care but the mods do.

I use to race an original RC10 Buggy. The Gold Tub version. I still have it. I am ever working on my E-maxx. Tons of fun.
