on my third emblem in the rear after 6 years, on my second in the front after 6 years...take some clear r t v sealant and seal around the top and side edges...wipe the excess off before it dries. water gets in through the top and sides and mess it up...have gotten well over a year out of the last one ...20 bucks a pop...may need to check on occasion or just paint it.....S C

As FiremanGeorge suggested (thanks) I think I'll put a rear view camera in the wiper location. Wireless cameras are fairly reasonable and would help very much when backing up with panels.
