Rear Seat belt Interchangabilty from year to year?

It seems the 2006 might be different from some "for sales" I have seen.. but curious how commonly they mount between years. Converted my panel over, but could not get torx bolts out at that time, sbut got ALL else, including the lower seat belts. So now trying to get an upper black set for the rear, and I do not recall what year the lowers came out of now. Hoping they fit more than one year?

I searched for "rear seatbelt" for a 2011 HHR (last year of production) on car-part.com (scrapyard parts search site).

Matches came up for every year of the HHR (2006-2011).

That's good enough for me to say they are the same all years of the HHR.

Oh, I forgot one thing.

I don't know if black was offered as an interior the first year (2006) or not, so since you want black that might rule out 2006 (or more).

I have a 2006 and a 2011 HHR.

I just looked at the rear seat belts in both.

They look identical.

The rears are OK to switch between years, the fronts will fit; but technically must be unused and manufactured for the year and model specifically, because they have an explosive element in them. Junkyards might not be willing to sell used front belts for liability reasons. Some won't sell rears.
