Has anyone removed the lower seat section in their HHR? My daughter thinks her ipod slipped down there.

 

Three screws will allow you to lift the storage cubbies out, you can then reach down below the seat cushion.

if you sitting in the back seat, right behind the back of your knee area there are some plastic covers that pop right off exposing bolts. unbolt the nuts and the black "frame" that the nuts are holding down, you can pull on em a lil. kinda have to push and pull a lil, pull the knob to fold the top part of the seat foward helping you unhook the black frame from the bolts. and the bottom portion of the seat will acctually fold upwards. ill try and take some pix for ya. but try what im telling you and should be alot quicker.
