HHR is covered in snow and wont start with the remote Where is the sensor so I can uncover it and use the remote start

Welcome, I live up here in the Great White North, my 2007 LS had remote start, it always worked no matter how much snow piled up on the roof, is there a CEL code? Is the MIL on? That’s what stops the RVS from functioning, also the hood ajar, door locks not locked, fob battery low, fob keypad dirty, broken fob battery bracket.

 

My money is on dead car battery.
