Halogen or LED any bulb that a H13 will fit , I have used different brands of both over the years, halogen bulbs only lasted 1 to 2 years. Some LED bulbs a little longer. I have a set of 6 sided LED bulbs in my 2011 , plug and play.

The "normal" bulbs are halogen. LED is LED, no noble gas involved.

Depends what you want to accomplish. Do you want brighter lights? First, make sure that the lenses are bright and clear. If they’re hazy and yellow, you won’t see well no matter what bulb you use.

First, the standard bulbs are halogen and pretty good provided the lenses are clear. LEDS are hit-or-miss can of worms, many different designs, even if they’re brighter they may mess up the aim of the beam.

Every bulb in my '06 is LED with resistors installed in the rear turn signals.
I also must report no issue with the C.C.

I installed Hikari VisionPlus H13 LED bulbs in my 2010 1LT back in October 2020. Great beam profile & HUGE improvement over stock or premium (like Sylvania SilverStar Ultra's) halogen's & they're not even the bright version of the Hikari line!
skip to 3 minute mark to see halogen vs Hikari LED beam pattern - those are the Ultra bright Hikari which are supposedly 3000 lumens brighter than the ones I bought.

If you go with LED, be sure to get the Anti Flicker Resistor's for them as well.
