If you clean the rear window a lot, here is a real easy and cheap (free) mod
so you do not have to hold it out of the way.

took me about 10 minutes and I smile every time I clean my window. I see you are in Tx. so you don't have to worry about snow/slush/salt so much.... But still one of the best mods I've done, figure I would put it up.

Edit: I have had no trouble with the wipers action since I did it

Any problems?

Has anyone who chopped/filed off the tab to allow the rear wiper fully to pull away from the rear glass suffered any problems as a result? In other words, does it still clean the glass as well as before, with no issues if it's windy or the car is being driven fast? If not, why would Chevy restrict the travel of the rear wiper blade in the first place?

Safety..... someone could walk into it if it were accidentally left sticking out. I can see this in a gas station situation....... I can't think of any other reason.
