Be sure to stop in St Louis to see the Arch. If you are a country music fan, stop in Nashville also and on the way pick up some Memphis award-winning barbeque. There's not much to see in Talllahassee (unless you have family there) but 3 hours east of there is St Augustine Florida, the first settlement in the continental US. The temps may still be in the 60's there at that time of year.
Which ever way you go, you'll have a great experience. I'm very envious!
