Roof Rack Broke

Anyone had this problem? The two chrome racks on the roof? The forward section over the drivers door apparently has about a 6inch section which is a cap to hide the bolts.

Went through a drive through car wash for the first time since I bought it last May. Did not use the brush cycle, just spray. As all the machinery was going back and forth, I heard a loud "pop."

I though tit was just the machine changin cycles. Later that day I noticed something odd and realized the cover was gone and obviously now attributing the pop to the cover being blown off by the pressure.

Covers gone and $50 to replace

So it didn't break, just the cover came off.

Still a first that I've heard of.

I guess that's why they have the warning sign on the wall as you drive in. I always ignore it and have never had an issue. Hope you can get a new cap, first I've heard of this happening. BTW I use the "touchless" washes all the time for a quick clean.
