Will a set of golf clubs fit in the back?

Sure. I've had 7 vinyl replacement windows in the back. :) It's home improvement season after all, and gotta get that new energy saving tax credit next year.

My clubs fit perfectly in the back. I have a regular bag (no stand and its not oversized).

If you're searching for someone else, just have them bring their clubs over and try them...but unless they've got one helluva set of clubs and bags, there should be no problem.

Better yet...send/show them THIS thread titled "What's the biggest thing you've put in your HHR?

I have three telescopes and tripods in the back of mine at the moment, along with a tent, sleeping bag, canopy, and a cooler. A set of clubs and bag will be a sinch.

My clubs don't fit

Being a golfer and actually hauling my golf clubs in the back I will tell you that mine don't fit lenghtwise across the back of the HHR. I usually fold down the smaller back seat and lay them out over the seat. You could also leave the seats up and have the clubs rest on the top of the seats or you may even try to prop them up against one of the window sills.

I once tried to get golf clubs for three people in my HHR and my two buddies and it was a nightmare. Had to stack the bags on top of each other on the folded down, little seat. The bags were sliding and falling off each other and stuff. It was not a good set up.

I'm a little disappointed, I have an Impala which will swallow three bags in the trunk easily.
