Rubber Mat Rescue

Sorry if this has been covered, but any insights on de-staining those heavy rubber honeycomb mats? I assume they're some kind of thermoplastic elastomer, would feel better knowing exactly what to help choose a cleaning process that won't damage them. I'm thinking something with peroxide but I don't dare use anything with chlorine.

Try a degreaser first like Awesome Orange from Dollar Tree. The stuff is fantastic. That's all I could ever find that works good on rubber mats. Spray it on. Use a scrub brush, rinse off. Might have to do it twice on some areas.

did you find one that worked better than another?
I tried regular dish soap on mine once, but didn't come out 100%, been wanting to try Clorox2, but of course the stores have been out of it for months

Some type of degreaser and arm strong efforts with stiff bristle brush a few rounds of this and let dry check results.
Westley's tire cleaner is a decent product. white bottle with blue and red lettering.
My son is a good detailer with dealership experience and is great making an engine bay look nice.
Yesterday he brought over a botte of MORADO by Zep product #0856 it is an industrial strength cleaner degreaser. Said that is what they use for me to try. I liked it better when he did the work, but what can you do he mowed the front lawn and borrowed the string trimmer.
