I tried buying a set from 'hellshotrod' but we just couldn't get together. I finally found a set locally, bought them, procrastinated about installing them, traded in the HHR on a Subaru Forrester, still have them. So if any one in SoCal needs a set I will sell these for $75.00, they are white. I have all the brackets, they are rusty but very usable.

I wonder how much shipping would be to 32179 in Florida? Do you also have the metal support panels that go under the boards?

Success! I got the brackets and support panels off by drilling out every torx screw. Pics of donor car below Passenger side
Drivers side. It was rusted the worst but of course wasnt rusted where the bracket was mounted

Thanks! Im going to clean and rust proof everything before I attempt to install so itll be a couple of weeks. Im thinking of painting the boards black because my car is white and black accents look good on it. What do you think?

Thanks! I plan on reading up on the install procedure before I attempt it but your pics are helpful and your cars the right color too 😁

Believe it or not a white HHR with running boards showed up at the LKQ salvage lot in Daytona this morning on their computer list but id already started on the one at Orlando and im painting the boards anyway. If anyone with an HHR in the area is looking for boards they are there for the picking 😁

Very Cool, & I think painting the boards black will add some nice contrast off the white.

My Panel is white also..

I added boards to my LT last year and Plasti-Dipped them black and they looked great. Paired with the HHR mud flaps (removed before I traded).

New running boards and mud flaps.<br/>Plasti-dipped the boards black and couldn't be happier.
