Thanks for the link , keep an eye on that and post any updates. I’ll start getting my paperwork together for any possible refunds for the fuel line kit

Interesting. I guess we'll see if this issue gains any traction after all this time. I replaced my lines in 2016 after smelling gas and seeing a small puddle on the driveway in front of the left rear wheel. Lines couldn't survive driving around in the salt and snow. I was surprised to to see how rusty the fuel lines were compared to the brake lines (powder coated?) that run along side the brake lines. All GM had to do was powder coat the fuel lines, too, but we're talking about the GM going bankrupt years. Anyway, I usually keep ALL my car repair receipts. So, I'll have to see if I can find my receipt for the lines just in case. I assume my labor is free.

I sent Mary Barra an email about the rusty fuel lines back in March 2018, she replied that that HHR was built in 2007, and that was prior to the GM bankruptcy and restructuring, so I’m SOL , however she would contact GM Canada for a 5% discount off the kits from their parts department, that came to almost $1,200.00 CDN , I don’t think so , the kit I ordered was only $200.00 and the vinyl plastic lines for my 2011 was only $180.00.
Like usual to little to late!

Maybe this is just some BS to make owners feel like GM is concerned.
