Satin grille; type of material
Hi guys,
Can anyone tell me what the satin grille is made of? I got one from skatetheglobe (thanks) to modify. I thought that it is made of plastic, but, in seeing it, it apppears to be some type of metal, but it isn't magnetic...
I am going to cut the second & fourth bars out and fill in where I cut the bars out on the ends. I can 'weld' plastic (I did a mastectomy on the front bumper) but I need to know just what the material in the grille is...
Is it some type of pot metal? Can pot metal be welded?
Never mind guys, I scratched the back side of it with my knife, and determined it is only plastic after all... DUH!
