Saw my First 2010

Saw my first 2010 in a Hess station near my house on LI, NY getting gas next to me. Nice color, sort of a gunmetal metallic dark grey. Said hi to the owner, mentioned ChevyHHR.Net. She said she thought the HHR was great but she had a problem at lights-not seeing them well. Told her about LightNSight and showed her mine. $17.50 would solve her problem. Interior seemed the norm (only saw through glass), yet the HHR seemeed a little higher, and it was missing the LS/LT letters. Said she thinks she had the 2.4 engine (LT?). Just had the HHR & FlexFuel tags on the rear, and of course no GM chicklet. The side looked kinda funny without it-to me anyway. I know some of you are de-badgers.

The 2010 are chicklet free. I have a 2010 HHR Panel 2LT and have the badges on the rear life gate. She might have had a LS with the bigger engine and that would explain why there was no LS on the rear. Did it have running boards? Or fog lights?

The 2.4 only comes with the LT. Not available on the LS. Unless they are really trying to use up inventory.....

stepsider-it had running boards, forgot if it had fogs. My not make a diff between the LS & LT with them because the original dealer I was going to buy an 09 LS from had the boards, roof rack, & fogs. The dealer has been around for over 50 years and is known to get upscale LS's. My wifes 05 Cobalt LS came with alum rims & rear full LT trunk spoiler with some other odds n ends from the same dealer. I pulled out of the 09 LS deal that had the extras because they broke the law and required that I give them (loan) the CFC $4500 up front, and if my paperwork went through (they screwed that up the 1st CFC go round) I would get my money back. Yeah-right. My 09 LS with no extras went through another dealer 40 miles away, they did the right thing-and my papers went through so he got paid from CFC.

It is a transferable flexible lens that mounts to the inside of the windshield. Helps you see traffic lights that are blocked from view by a low roof-line like the HHR has.

Stop light prisms were popular on hot rods with sun visors and chopped tops. The HHR fits right in with them. For the older style, they come in cheap as well as expensive versions. Lightnsight is simply a modern version of an old idea.
