Thumbs up Scosche @ Best Buy

Well I went to Best Buy today and this was outside with the radio blasting! I asked him how much it cost to do this to the HHR and he told me $45K! It looked and sounded great… but for $45K wow that’s a lot of money… They put a LCD in every door, a 15 inch in the middle, another in the dash and two more with the subs…

But $45,000 seems like an awful lot for what's showing

I agree!
Why the LCDs in the door panels?? You can't see them very well the doors are open and not at all when closed.
Where's the LCDs in the visors?

I guess part of the $45K was closing in the far back windows. This isn't a panel because the doors still have windows. I wouldn't have shown it in public until it was buffed and waxed. I really like the style of the wheels but would prefer them in chrome or brushed. Overall, it's a good show car to advertise the HHR.

jx3: The LCDs in the door are for decoration and show. Not meant to be functional, and visor LCDs are sooo 2001.

SandyBeach: The paint is supposed to have that flat patina like old school faded laquer.

It'd be nice if Scosche made that LCD pod in the center dash available as a standard retail part. I'd like to put one there for a carputer system.

It seems as if they were trying to fill every available space with monitors, so why not visors.
Guess you missed the sarcasm.

At Red Robin Restaurants they have T.V.'s in the floor. Lets see someone do that in an HHR

Wow...that's definitely different...and 45K sounds like alot of money. Maybe that included the price of the car too. I'm totally clueless when it comes to all the electronic gadgets...so what's that thing in the back that looks like an escalator?
