Congrats
I knew that Gomez was in the Chicagoland Area, I purchased a vehicle from
O'connor chevrolet in Alsip in 1989 the same way you did. In the same kind of weather, Good luck with GOMEZ, I guess we will be hearing from you So we can cruise together when the weather breaks. Looking forward to see GOMEZ and meeting you soon.

So why is the car named Gomez?
Does it have something to do with this guy?
Welcome to the site, BTW!

Yes he is named after Gomez Addams.

Since the Addams family is one of my fave shows and they drove a hearse, I decided to name him Gomez! I have now had Gomez for 4 days and he drives great and just needed gas as of today!!!

This car is excellent, and they gave me a better deal today as well. They were able to go down on my rate and get financing through GMAC for 8.9!!

SO SWEET!!!!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes. Yes when the weather breaks, all Chi HHRs must meet.

On the right is my Gomez smiling as I take the photo. By the way we have already driven about 370 miles around the city. I just gave him his 1st tank of gas yesterday!

Looks nice! You're gonna want to talk to the dealer about getting running boards, or get them somewhere else. You'll be glad you did in Chicago. we haven't gotten as much snow and ice here in St. Louis as you have but with the boards, the salt and such has been awful. with out the road debris and salt chew up the rear quarter!
