Seat swap, air bag light

Swapped auto seats from a hhr to my hhr and now I have a service airbag light. No light prior.

Depends. What year to what year ? Which kind of seats ?
There was some production changes over the years and models. Some may not be compatible to a straight swap.

Same connectors and modules under the seat? Did the other car get your seats? airbag light on it?

The seat themselves are not at issue; it's the airbag sensors and modules.

There should some Bxxxx codes.

Same connectors, everything plugged in. His car did get mine, and he doesn't have interior. So they weren't plugged in. I was told gm might have to reprogram or something for the new sensor or something

Get the codes read and we will not have to rely on some guy walking down the street.
The passenger presence should be zeroed. Most have found they have to switch the module, too. Or you could have damaged a wire or connector. Or you blew a fuse; #13 on the BCM, #56 under hood.

Will have to look into this, seats are like 8 hours away from me now.

I'll have to hook up my scanner. Uhm, how big is the module?
