Swapped auto seats from a hhr to my hhr and now I have a service airbag light. No light prior.

Depends. What year to what year ? Which kind of seats ?
There was some production changes over the years and models. Some may not be compatible to a straight swap. |

Same connectors and modules under the seat? Did the other car get your seats? airbag light on it?
The seat themselves are not at issue; it's the airbag sensors and modules. There should some Bxxxx codes. |

Get the codes read and we will not have to rely on some guy walking down the street.
The passenger presence should be zeroed. Most have found they have to switch the module, too. Or you could have damaged a wire or connector. Or you blew a fuse; #13 on the BCM, #56 under hood. |
