Same connectors and modules under the seat? Did the other car get your seats? airbag light on it?
The seat themselves are not at issue; it's the airbag sensors and modules.
There should some Bxxxx codes.

Same connectors, everything plugged in. His car did get mine, and he doesn't have interior. So they weren't plugged in. I was told gm might have to reprogram or something for the new sensor or something

The passenger presence should be zeroed. Most have found they have to switch the module, too. Or you could have damaged a wire or connector. Or you blew a fuse; #13 on the BCM, #56 under hood.
