ya, it was my first of MANY to go mods..

this was my first mod from socalhhr, i got the powder paint one. few months later it already started fading. I repainted it and cleared it and have had no problems since.

 

I had that one also. The Black ones I am doing are powder coated steel, I tried painting and clear coating but did not have luck with the first ones, so I have been sanding down the chrome ones and then powder coating them and they are doing better. These are the ones from Socal Mike. My Satin Chrome are clear coated with high quality clear coat not the less expensive stuff.
