Question Should Heated Seats Come On Automatically When Remote Starting Vehicle???

Would You like to have your car turn on your Heated Seats When You remote Start Your Car?

1.) Yes - Only Driver's Side - Always
2.) Yes - Both Sides - Always
3.) Yes - Only Driver's Side - Temp Controlled - Comes On Only Below Certain Temp
4.) Yes - Both Sides - Temp Controlled - Comes On Only Below Certain Temp
5.) No

Pick an Answer & Explain your reasoning? If you pick Temp Controlled, Please list degrees in Farenheit where you would like to have this happen at or below!!! I am working ono something pretty big with all of this information!!! More To Come!

What temp does the rear defroster turn on with the remote start, maybe 5deg celcius? That sounds good to me. In fact, maybe you could use the same relay in some way to trigger the seats.

Not using that relay, because it only comes on i believe under 36 degrees! and I'm sorry but that is not enough range for me! I now have a working unit in my car, and will soon post pictures!! I may become a supporting Vendor with Chevy hhr and sell the unit!!

This information about the ear defroster came from ChevyMgr -- Sorry, I didn't mention it.

The service manual does not give this information. I think it is 36°F is when it comes on which is when the "Ice Possible" message comes on the DIC.

Have it be user selectable as to temperature and left & right seats.

A few dipswitches to the logic would take care of this.

Or of course there is the standard potentiometer option.
