GOT Stripes?
Ok I want to have the SS Stripes painted on my hood (Silver on Flash Blue) with that said please help me decide in doing this. I want to see your Hood stripes, so If you have them - Post some pics here. There are 3 Different sets I've seen on the HHR. Post'm if ya got them. Looking forward to seeing them.

 

Im just not sure what stripes you mean. I know you said they werent racing stripes. Like this??

 

No the stripes I want on the hood don't go down over the front bumper. In fact they kinda have a little curve to them in the front. Lookat a camero z28 or Camero SS and you'll see what I mean. (I think) LOL

Off the top of my head i dont recall seeing these on an hhr. But im sure there are some somewhere.

 

I'm pretty sure I saw a few on this site, however I'm getting old so my memory is not as good as it used to be. I used to search google PICS of the HHR's when I was researching this car, and I may have seen them there, not sure, but you get the idea right? My customer (A body shop) will do it for $500 Belive it or not I actually have a degree in Auto Body but haven't done this kind of work in over 35 Years. So NOT sure if this is a fair price or not - Seems fair, but I haven't had anyone paint anything for me either in years! LOL

Fwiw. HHR SS's didn't come factory with hood stripes. The links you put up are of HHR's before Chevy even made a SS. And those stripes are all aftermarket.
You need something based off of another model of SS.

Just came across this set - EXACTLY What I want - The cowl Induction is nice to but NOT ready for anything like that right now - LOL

Wonder if the owner of this HHR is here on the Forum?
