how do you know if you hhr has side curtain airbags installed them .
when i got my hhr it did not have a window sticker ??


It is a 2007 2lt

 

The plastic pieces that I have painted blue are the covers for the curtain bags. Their is also a third one on each side in the A-pillar.

If this doesn't help, you can always ask PittsburgHHR. Just PM him or post the last 6 digits in the following thread.........

Are you sure those aren't just the caps to cover the screws that hold the interior pieces on? I don't have side impact airbags and I still have all of those caps. When you pull them off there are just screws beneath......at least on my HHR that is.

 

Side airbags, front/rear on my 07 2LT were added options: $395.00 (got this info on my sticker).
Duh--just realized you said you had no sticker...

OK, went and checked Blackie, the little covers on the back pillars say "Airbag" on them. So I assume, if they don't say that, no side airbags

 

Mine don't say airbag so that has to be it.

 

Guess I left a key word out of my post above.

 

The option code for side air bags is ASF. As stated above if it says AIRBAG you have them.
