Sold the HHR..

And bought this:

I was looking at new cars, including the HHR and others because of GM's loyalty discount and 2K GM card topoff, but I couldn't pass up this one. 08 with only 5300 miles. Black is far from my favorite color, but this was a good 4K or so less than a new one, even after all incentives. It's an auto but the wife wouldn't let me get a 5-speed anyway. The engine is not only way more powerful, it is also smoother and more refined. That's really what sold me on getting one.

Gorgeous! I know the color is a PITA to keep nice, but worth the little extra work (this from someone who spent 2 hours waxing her's this morning!)

I keep getting all these emails and notices about all the rebates, etc too--then to top it off, my credit union sends me a note that I am pre-approved for a $50K car loan! argh!!! Not gonna do it....

oh well...glad you stayed in the family!

You will love the black when it is clean and hate it when it is dirty.

I should know with a Black SS and Black Pontiac.

You will get a lot of compliments on this. Enjoy it well it is a bute.

Twist, If you ever see the beauty that UMA is, you'd understand why I have to keep my Blackie as shiny as I do. Todd is the standard for what a black HHR should look like!

Pit, you'll find keeping your SS shiny will be therapeutic!
