you can get the pin-striping from GM, it costs $95 and is an add on.

The shadow edition looks good in person. I was tempted by one that they had here when I was looking around. It has the regular bumpers from the hhr, SS rocker panels, and then the SS spoiler. The paint is crazy though, sometimes it looks really dark grey, then other times it looks almost dark green. Like i said i was tempted, but it was only offered in the 2.2L engine, and i really wanted a 2.4.

Does anyone have a part # for that pinstripe with HHR at the end of it? Do they make it in red?

Well SilverSS, we know there are at least 2 of the 2008 Special Editions, because we have one too........ She's sitting in the garage with 1400 miles on her just waiting for the Spring road trip

voodoochild54,
I have 3,400 miles on mine. Oh did I mention that I love this car. It feels pretty cool knowing that we have a pretty rare HHR Special Edition, only 2 on the board here. I put molded HHR splash guards on it. That's it for the mods

The paint is just so Saaaaweeeet on them when they are clean, like I've never seen before.

take care...........

I have a 2007 Premiere Edition. I get a lot of comments on the color and many like the two tone leather interior. I have added a sway bar and black step protector for the rear bumper and door sill molding(not on yet). So far, this is the best car I have ever owned. Adding the sway bar is one of the cheapest and easiest mods you can do to improve the handling of your HHR, in your driveway.

If you have GM part numbers, try www.gmpartsdirect.com.
