I was watching a youtube review about the HHR and found out there are 2 storage compartments behind the second row seats. I took a look today and there are indeed compartments. Guess what was inside them??? a jack and the tire wrench I couldn't find when I had the flat tire earlier this week!! Had to laugh about that one!!

 

At least you don’t have to go buy a jack now! Just install it in it’s proper storage place under the spare tire donut

I had an old jack in the back porch from a car that was scrapped, and I picked up a torque wrench and socket so I can torque the rims correctly. The original jack does have a better top to fit under the car. so much to learn on this critter..

Thanks for the picture of the storage position. the wing nut is probably gone but I can make something work.

 

I found a brand new fob and the cargo net in mine.

That is where my jack was too. Honestly, I thought that is where it went. I too have a net in one of the cubbies, but have no clue where the net was supposed to go while in use?

 

I probably should look under the jack... maybe I'll find some cash!!

 

I had my HHR since 2012 .. Never knew they storage box's were there ! Then read about them here and looked and :O they were there lol. Now hold spare light bulbs fuses etc
I did not even find a rock lol
