Street Scene Billet Bow Tie Emblems

Well I got my first emblem and I am waiting for the rear that is on Back Order.

Here is what one looks like on a SS. I went with the outlined Polished to match the factory polished aluminum wheels.

These are very good pieces and for the money not a bad buy. I was split on solid satin finish and the outlined polished. I think I made the right choice.

I will post the rear when I get it and put it on in about a week.

I will have the factory SS wheels on in about a week and take of the winter wheels. I try to wait for April 15th but we have been having 70-80 degree weather here and no snow in the future predicted. Hard to believe we had 4 inches of snow 2 weeks ago.

I also added a clear hood guard. I used the Husky and it goes around the grill and about 6 inches back on the top of the hood. It is not real noticable. I thought I had every thing touched up and sanded down but I missed about 3 that the cover shows a tiny bit. Most people would not care or notice. I figure it is better to have this than more stone chips on the nose.

They did not offer the bumper but I can get that from another place. We just had the Huskeys at work and I figured to give it a try. I will not put the bumper cover on till I have it repainted later. I have enough small dings now I would rather wait till it is right. I just wish I had this on when it was new.

I got mine at Summit but anyone who sell Street Scene can get them for you.

They are offered in stain, polished and chrome. In plain or outlined.

I have the satin plain one here too. It looked good too but I went polished since it matched the wheels.

Street Scene coats or anodized them to protect them from snow salt and other harsh things.

Either way it looks better than the gold.

Before anyone complains about price these in the real world of quality aftermarket parts are fairly cheap. So if anyone thinks they may be expensive you have never seen expensive. The factory plastic ones by the time you pay shipping are over half the cost of these.

They so fit all HHR's not just the SS.

hyperv6, with that look, winter wheels and all, would be a perfect, unsuspecting rice smoker in my neck of the woods (NY metro where ricers dominate the autoscape). At the (start) line, sometimes plain is cool (or hot).
